What's the situation with "coffee"? (Just curious - I'm a tea lover.)

Coffee definitely will not look as 'Proto-Berber' like Tea does. The origin of coffee would be expected to come from Arabic. I'm not exactly drowning in dictionaries at the moment, so I can't give a full account of the word for coffee in all Berber languages.

In Mali Touareg we find two word for coffee:
kæfe and ælqæhwa which are loanwords from French and Arabic respectively: Café and al-qahwa(-t).

I expect to find similar distributions in other Berber languages. Though none of the Berber dictionaries I have at hand besides the Mali Touareg one actually contain the word for coffee.
